I started using a rebounder after I developed a running injury from training for an ultra marathon. I was so impressed with how I regained strength and I felt so many other benefits. I was instantly hooked and that’s when I decided that I wanted to teach rebounder classes! Now I want to share this incredible fitness with you!

Using a rebounder has brought back years to my body and overall health. I was starting to feel heavier in my running, biking and hiking. I felt like gravity was starting to pull me down and feeling like my body was aging. Now I feel lighter and have regained strength in my core, hips and legs. It’s really amazing, I feel like I am 10 years younger!

I have taught thousands of cycling and treadmill running classes, presented all kinds of workshops and hosted many hiking and running retreats in Sedona. I also love to challenge myself with mountain biking, road cycling, trail running and hiking.

STEP 1:

Buy a rebounder.

You can use any type of rebounder, but I highly recommend using the Cellercise rebounder because of it’s patented spring system. STEP 2:

Pre-condition your body for a class.

This is not something to take lightly, it is very important. Your body definitely needs time to adjust to rebounding. Every part of you is bouncing and this impacts your organs, muscles, connective tissues, bones, joints and every other part of your body. You may feel like you can do more than 5 minutes to start, but resist the urge and see how you feel day by day. I made the mistake of going too long too soon and felt sore. I didn’t injury myself in any way, but my body needed more time to adjust and build up time on the rebounder. Be sure to follow my advice on this.

STEP 3:

Build a playlist of your favourite high energy songs.

Rebounding to your favourite music adds to the experience for sure. One of the easiest workouts is free flowing and dancing to songs that make you want to bounce!
