If you are seeking an all encompassing path of yoga, you have come to the right place! My classes are designed to open your body, calm your mind and connect to your spirit.

 Yoga is a vast and complex practice that some people spend their lives dedicated to mastering. But you don’t need to be an expert to reap the benefits of yoga, or even be flexible, for that matter. I strongly believe that yoga has something to offer everyone, at every stage of their lives. 

 My holistic approach includes Hatha, Kundalini and Nidra Yoga. I teach pure classes of each and also ones that offer a blend of these powerful modalities. My teachings are designed to meet you where you are, wherever that may be, and awaken you to your inner calmness and oneness, while nurturing a deeper awareness of yourself and the world around you. With Zenergy Live, you will increase flexibility and awareness, decrease stress, and move toward the union of mind, body, and spirit. 

I offer an array of classes - from 10 minute sessions that are easy to squeeze into your day, to longer sessions that will take you on a complete yoga voyage and truly harness transformational power. I’m here to support you in every aspect of your practice and offer many options in each class to accommodate you and your skill level.

Transform your mind

In all aspects of yoga that I teach, my focus is on bringing your mind to a clear, calm and balanced state in an approachable and achievable way. This is done through cultivating deeper body sensing and awareness in poses (asanas), different types of breathwork (pranayama) and meditations with specific hand positions (mudras), eye gazes (drishti) and body locks (bandhas). I promise it is never boring and always enriching so you can feel the shifts within you, lowering stress and anxiety and allowing you to be your best self on and off the mat. Together, we will cultivate a sense of deep rooted relaxation, and allow our minds to come quieter so we can become more resilient to emotional challenges and find a soothing, flowing state of being with us and all around us.

Transform your body

The foundation of my classes is moving with ease, awareness and optimal breathing and is meant for yogis of all skills levels. As we open our bodies slowly and deliberately into different poses (or modifications of poses to accommodate different skill levels), we gently increase flexibility, gain strength and improve balance, while at the same time growing inner and outer relaxation and rejuvenating our bodies. My cues are simple, yet detailed for you to understand and feel the essence of the postures and continually grow confidence in your practice to become your own best teacher.

Transform your spirit

We all have a spirit, the place within you that speaks quietly and guides you to your greater purpose and inherent state of inner peace and joy. Often though in the hussle and bussle of life, spirit is ignored, not heard or felt. My yoga classes have a strong focus on spirit, also referred to as your intuition or higher self. I realize this may all sound daunting, intimidating or “too out there”, but I present this in a way that you can relate to and understand how being in touch with your inner existence can improve your everyday life by elevating your energy, releasing emotional blockages and letting go of subconscious thought patterns and beliefs. Come and join me on a enriching journey of awakening, recognizing and following your spirit to feel deeper connection and inner transformation.

 

Feel your Zenergy: On and off your mat

I strongly believe what you learn on your mat can have a tremendously positive impact in your life, something that I have heard time and time again from my students. The shifts are subtle and small, but they build over time and can lead to incredible personal growth and inner happiness. All it takes is a willingness to open and sense your inner landscape and be present with what is there and what is arising, which can sometimes be difficult or painful because of life circumstances. Through this entry point though, greater trust, healing and growing can be cultivated to feel your true potential and inherent peace. Yoga is somewhat magical as it works on the outside of your body, what you see and feel, and also deep within where you cannot see, into the chemistry of your blood, nervous system and subconscious mind.

My philosophy of teaching is based on the science of yoga derived from three powerful yoga lineages: Hatha, Kundalini and Nidra Yoga. I have studied and taught for almost half of my life, and still can never get enough, I yearn to learn and continually upgrade my education in yoga, so that I can share it in a way that has deeper meaning to you. I offer explanations, interesting insights inspiring guidance and practical wisdom with the intention of helping you settle and flourish in your practice. I am here to support your journey of awakening, awareness and show you how simple and practical yoga can be. With openness, grounding and heartfelt connection we can channel our Zenergy together and crave to come back to our mats again and again.

Love your life in balance

I thrive in energy, seek adrenaline, and love to keep moving. I guess you could say that I am not a typical yoga and meditation teacher.

I like to joke around and say if yoga can help me, it can help anyone.  I understand the power of yoga and know first hand how it can transform your life no matter your inherent personality, life experiences or beliefs, but it did take me a while to get there. 

I was a strong type A before... and while I would say that I am still a type A personality, I now have a deep connection to my authentic self. Yoga didn’t change “me” as a person per se, but it did bring in harmony, flow and inner peace on a level I hadn’t achieved before. That’s what yoga is all about. It enriches you and your life, bringing about both big and subtle transformations in your mind, body and spirit - and that is why I want to share my teachings with you.
